First post on my new Savage Mars Blog

Recently my gaming group has been using the Savage Worlds (Fast! Furious! Fun!) rules to run a campiagn set on Edgar Rice Burroughs Mars (or Barsoom for those who have read the books! If you haven't read the books, go get them, I highly recomend them. The first three books are: A Princess of Mars, The Gods of Mars, and Warlord of Mars)

These are some pictures of the miniatures used in the campaign. The lighting on these is a little harsh, since I haven't figured out how to turn off the flash.

Here are the miniatures being used for Thuvia, John Carter, and Dejah Thoris. The miniatures are from Tin Man Miniatures.

These are the Adult versions of the Tin Man Miniatures. Phaidor, High Preistess of the Holy Therns is the Adult Version Princess Livia miniature with a different paint scheme.

Another set of miniature to be used as John Carter and Dejah Thoris. Or Carthoris and Thuvia...These are from Bronze Age Miniatures Dead Earth line.

The noble red martian warriors of the Twin Cities of Helium are represented by these Miniatures from Bronze Age Miniatures.

Red Martian Warrior Women of Helium - Bronze Age Miniatures again.

Red Martian Warriors of Zodanga, led by one of their infamous Assassins. Bronze Age Minaitures Dead Earth line.

Beautiful and lethal Red Martian Women of Zodanga.

These are the Red Martian Harem Women. The miniatures are from Bronze Age Miniatures.

Savage Green Martians with their deadly Radium Rifles. These also are from Bronze Age Miniatures Dead Earth line.

More Savage Green Martians, this time with swords and daggers. The miniatures are from Bronze Age Miniatures.

These are the fearsome White Apes that roam the streets of the deserted ancient cities that line the dead sea bottoms of Barsoom. Enemies of Red and Green Martian alike. The miniatures are from Bronze Age Miniatures. I sculpted the crest on the head of the center white ape, to mark him as the male of the tribe.
